Dear Paul,

 Thank you so much for attending to my mother-in-law... She truly appreciated your kindness and expertise as did Paul and I.

As you correctly surmised, she lived through the depression; it's very hard for her to spend money, let alone on herself and she fully believed that you would try to "sell" her new hearing aids and she wasn't about to stand for that! However, Paul and I prevailed. After all, Paul was diriving and there wasn't much she could do without making an embarassing scene. So....

And then after all was said and done, she agreed that seeing you and having her hearing aid adjusted by a "real" audiologist and not some tech was a good thing.

Thank you again, Paul for being so generous with your time and being so patient with my mother-in-law.
